Honda Z50 back in Ozzie market

Well, it seems that Honda Australia has decided to restart shipments of
Z50's.

Although these won't (apparently) be road registerable.

I wonder how they'll get along against the replicas from China.

Back then these were registrable. I remember a bloke used to ride one
around Wollongong about 1970. Looked pretty stupid out on the road. It's
a wonder he didn't end up under a car in the traffic. Haven't seen him
for a long while, perhaps he did.

 

Yep; a mate of mine had a registered Z50 in 1973.
There were two models then; the cheaper one had less bits and wasn't
registrable.
