Honda VT750 seat compatibility

  1. Not sure how many cruiser types there are here, but I'm trying to find
out if the seats are interchangeable between a 2005 VT750C and a 2009
    VT750C2.

  2. A hammer and some Araldite and I'd reckon they'd have to be, surely?

  3. I knew I'd find some helpful answers.

I have an angle grinder and a welder. I'm sure she won't mind.

It's a Japanese motorcycle which means the chance of any parts interchanging
from one year to another is purely coincidental. ;-)

To give a more useful answer: Have you called any bike wreckers to check?
I'm sure they'd let you one on your bike if it meant a possibility of a
sale. If it fits, you're unlikely to walk away without buying it...

Bikebandit shows the 2005 VT750C as having a 2-piece seat
    http://www.bikebandit.com/houseofmotorcycles/2005-honda-motorcycle-vt750c-shadow-aero/o/m2882

    and the 2009 VT750 C2 as a 1-piece "double" seat

But that's the US models so it mayn't be the same here.

  6. Good suggestion. I sometimes amaze myself with how I don't think of
    these things myself. [thumbs up]
