I have bought a honda vf750fd it has 14k on the clock. I have been told
it has the mod to the oil feed to the top end. Does any one know how to
check this or what to look for ? It is running well and looks well
looked after. There is a honda oil additive does anyone know what it is
called and where can you get it. Hope someone can help. I have a
workshop manual but it does not mention either.
    THanks Biffo

Sabmag is the place to look - but there's a good resource here:

I wouldn't stick any additives anywhere until you've researched them.

Best of luck with the cams.

Christ, I hope it was cheap. Like under £500.

Can't remember, but the FD was a late model VF, so should be modded,
yeah. You do realise that it will blow up anyway, don't you?

    TOG@toil says...
FDs were the first model of VF750F. There was the supposedly already
modified FE version later. I had both and it was my FE that gave me
trouble. My FD was perfect until the day it got stolen.
