Honda V30 Magna Oil Capacity

    Hi all,

    I recently bought a 1984 V30 and I did an oil change, can anyone tell me how
    much do I need. Does anyone has a favorite type of oil for this motorcycle.
    I purchased 4 quarts of Rotella 15w-40w oil.

    I remember seeing that at Wal-Mart. However, for an 1984 motorcycle, I
    don't think it is recommended.

    And why is that? I run synthetic in all my motorcycles, from my '56
    Harley to my 2001 BMW, and that includes a Honda Shadow 700 . . . .
