    Hardly a classic I know, but does anyone know how to derestrict this
    cracking wee two stroke?

    Not at all surprised.

    This kind of rumour seems to perpetuate for all restricted 125s.
    Wishful thinking, I suppose.

    I can still clearly remember the trader who sold me my first TZR125
    telling me this. I was already fairly clear at that time that it was
    not the case (it needed a power valve servo etc.).

    I later found evidence that some previous owner had been following the
    myth. A bolt into the valve rotor, holding a cover over where the would
    fit, was fixed with glue but no thread.
