    Hi,

I have a 1981 CX500B. It has been in 'storage' for 4 years, and I have
recently decided to recomission it for road use.

I can get the bike to run on Bradex easy-start, but it will not run on
petrol. The right hand curburettor is flooding, and I am sure petrol
is getting into both carbs (If I release the float chamber screw
    petrol comes out.

I have taken the slides off, and cleaned the needles, which were
dirty, but it still wont start. This is really beginning to confuse
    me....

    Thanks, Owen.

I would take the carbs off, put them on the bench, disassemble them and
    clean everything.
