Honda CM450C - Transmission clicks when slowly releasing the clutch lever..

    I have a 1982 honda cm450 c.. it seems that my transmission will 'click, click click' when i slowly let out the cluch
    to take off onto the street.. after going it is not noticed.. the clicks go away. seems only to start clicking again when i come to a stop, then start to go again.

    is this cluch plates or something else.
