    Hi.
I have a Honda CBX 750F -84 (also known as RC17) and I'm having problems
    with it.
It will work fine on low rpms and I can give it some gas for short periods
of time, but as soon as i hold the gas for more than one or two seconds it
will start to puke black smoke and it will die after a few seconds unless i
stop giving it gas, then it will run very bad for 3-5 seconds and then it
will start running well again (keeping it below 3000rpm) I've talked to a
couple of people and they say it's because it gets to much gas and to little
air. I've changed the spark plugs and cleaned all four carborators, but that
didn't help much. The air screwes are set to factory settings. Another thing
the people i've talked to say, is that it might be because of the carborator
membranes? all the four carborators are synced.
Can it be because of an ignition problem (wouldn't it run badly on low rpms
as well if it was?) The carorators does not have throttles they have "lids"
that are opened then you give it gas.
I have no idea what might be wrong, I just got the bike. Any help is
    appreciated.
