kind of "rattling", "knocking" noise only when idling, no noise with >2000
rpm. I,ve heard that timing chain tensiner could cause noise, opened valve
cover, now when pressing timing chain it does not feel "slacky" at all.
Hard to believe that the tensioner could cause the problem.

Is there any other part that could cause similar noise ? Something in
    starter/alternator drive ? Clutch ?

AFAIK the CC tensioner problem was only on the CBR600, not the completely
    different CBR1000.

If it's a subtle sound I would agree with TOG and say it's clutch
rattle. Have the same thing on my 88 ZX10. Don't ignore it though, if
you tune your bike and balance your carbs it'll run smoother and the
knock will be minimized, maybe even reduced so much you won't hear it.
Did a full tune-up on my bike and you can barely hear it now.

My brothers CBR1000 used to do it.It improved a lot after I balances his carbs, but it still rattles
    a bit.

Mileage is 105000 km / about 70k miles

In fact I have already opened valve cover to check timing gear and checked
clutch plates, everything seem fine. I contacted previous owner, timing
chain and tensioner have been replaced about 10-15 k miles ago.

I put everything back and tried running the engine tonight, tried touching
the engine and accessories, it is posssible to "feel the rattling/knocking"
when touching alternator cover with finger.

How to examine alternator/starter ? Haynes seems a bit confusing. It seems
that if alternator drivechain or tensioner has to be replaced, the engine
has to be taken out of frame and opened completely, But what is possible to
examine without major operation, to check if bearing fault or something
    loose inside alternator/starter et.c ?
