Honda Cb550 exhust

    I have a guy willing to sell me his stock exhust pipes off a 1978 honda
    cb550 to put on my 1976 cb550. Will they fit with no problem? I like
    the 78 cb550 exhust better because it has two pipes on each side unlike
    my current exhust of one pipe on each side. Any suggestions?

    The exhausts will fit because the engines and frames are identical. You
    will have to make up some new mounting brackets for the silencers,
    though, and possibly relocate the pillion pegs.
