holy crap - what a road

    MDH, yeahs he pretty good , he not the cheapest, but he wont bullshit you
    and he'll tell you up front what the work should cost

    I had a crack at that road on my 01 European tour. Norway is full of
    incredible roads, apart from a pass in the Dolomites they were my
    favourites.
    Unfortunatly when I got there I discovered it was only open for a few hours
    each day but as it cut 100s of kms off my trip and I was hanging to ride it
    I tried to get through anyway.
    I managed to get around the gates and thought I was set. The climb is
    *very* steep and the inside line of the switchbacks is almost like a wall.
    There was a sign saying 'no stopping' which I thought was weird until a few
    fist sized rocks started tumbling off the cliff onto the road. Once I got
    to the top I came across some road works and had to go back down and go
    around the long way.
