Hi guys, I'm currently in Thredbo with Minx (climbed Kosciuszco
today!) and apparently I'm now going to be spending New Year's Eve in
Adelaide.

Anyone want to meet us there?

Nev, I'll come with you. I want to compare my riding abilities with yours
and hopefully learn a few things on the way. ie: mono and riding above
250km/hr. Not into phones and shit, just let me know when and where you'll
be on the day so we can meet ..lol. I'm in Pakenham, and I've been reading
this news group fairly consistently for over 3 years now, but rarely ever
post other than to ask a question or two.

BTW..i ride a 2002 BB1100XX and want to see how it compares to your kwaka zx
1200.

 

I think that the schedule[1] calls for us to arrive on the 31st.

I sort of need to get myself back home by the 2nd or 3rd, so I think
it'll just be the evening and I'll probably put a couple of hundred km
under my wheels on New Year's day.

Yeah, I'm at work right now... I spent most of Christmas day here too... still
have to work another 24 rostered hours 8pm Saturday and 8am Monday... by the
end of that I reckon I'll have earned a holiday, but at this stage I don't
actually think I'll make it to Adelaide.

My mate stole your bike! He does it for a loving it's how i got mine. You
bike is parked in the legends Pool Hall carpark in Prahran.

 

Yes, that is correct smee. Scums bike is still at the Pool Hall. Why has
nobody picked it up yet? Just because I can't do a mono does not mean i'm
slow. Just today i was doing 250k/hr down Princess Highway on my BB wearing
only shorts thongs and t-shirt. It was the most exhilarating experience I've
ever had!
