Hog Pit Prep ride

Still no pictures for Dusty so I spent the day getting ready for the Hog Pit
run.

I called Ruby and she isn't working there right now account she is off
having a big nosed baby. That makes the coast clear for me to take the
Sheriff with me.

We started the day riding with the sun in our face and continued that
direction until the sun was above. We stopped and had something to eat and I
gave the Sheriff her last drink of water for the trip, trying to toughen her
up for the Laureles ride and crowd. We then came back the same route with
the sun in our face.

The hottest temp encountered today was 102, so we got to improve on that.

We looked at people to get used to the way different ones look so no
surprises down South.

I've also turned the hot water off at my house. I think we'll be ready.

Damn, Louie.. you really should keep up with the current goins' on..

It would appear that Dusty might be on a bender and is slightly put
out with participants on this newsgroup.. He's made it clear that by
not being able to post pictures on this text group, that he's consid-
ing taking his business to another group that isn't so restrictive..

He's also made it plain that he's a computer wizard without equal..
as well as a motorcycle racer who's ready to challenge anyone who
rides fast.. hmmm.. Now, that does it for me.. that dude is tough as
a boot and I wouldn't even dare to assume that I'd stand a chance
under those circumstances..

Now that I think more on it, though.. it is my own conclusion that you
should condition the Sheriff (not that she needs much conditioning)
for that trip to south Texas and the Hog Pit.. By the time Sheriff gets
done with Dusty and his beer joint, that he's so proud of.. that whole
bunch will be crowded into a corner..

Even though he ain't doing right, I'm gonna try to get him back on our side.

Me too.. I'd forgotten those damned knobs the dude was looking for..
But then, in one of his responses to Brian, he indicated that he wasn't
limited to the GL.. That might mean that he's the proud owner of mult-
iple motorcycles.. Keesheesh.. I'm all confused..

hmmm.. You don't suppose this guy might be ol' Texdays, again ? lol..

Louie and the high Sheriff rode east towards the sun, till they got very
thirsty, then rode opposite, west, till they found thier home in FW.

GPS went into a "lost" mode.Did that too us last week.

 

Ed, did it get water logged too.

BTW, You going deep south to help teach Dusty a thang' or two..
I hope Dusty dont quit our friendly group here, we need all the new
peoples we can mustard up....

 

I'm leaving real soon headed back to east Texas.Spend the weekend with my
mom and go back to Center and visit.

 

Are these the same friends big ed has? the imaginary ones? lemme know
when so i can ice the beer down.

let ya' know......<g>

 

<sigh> Looks like ol' Dusty done deserted us.. Guess he just didn't
like any of us very much..

The way I got it figured is .. you've certainly dropped the ball as the
group's "Ratings Monitor".. Fully realizing the awesome responsibil-
ities in that position, it must be said that .. tsk, tsk.. you are just
going

Ah shit! I thought I shamed you old "guys" out of all that "sun
guidance" crap!!!

Old man buys a perfectly good Goldwing with all those GPS' and *still*
using the sun to find your way!!!
