Hmmmmm....

  1. That's twice in two days I've been nodded at by a police biker whilst riding
back from work. Could this mean that they're not all that bad really, or do
the police in Norfolk have nervous twitches (I thought it was just the
sheep) and I'm just taking it the wrong way :)

No, I've frequently got a return nod from police bikers.

Count yourself lucky, the only time I've ever been pulled up was by
motorcycle coppers in Essex on a few occaisions. Shows you how long it's
been, we haven't had m/cycle cops in essex in... ...ages!

I was warned the 350lc might attract them ;-)

Have you been nodded at/acknowledged by other bikers whilst walking in
    town in bike leathers?
I was just on my way back to the bike and passed another biker walking,
and we sort of nodded and said "Hi."

    Very weird. :)

I often get nodded at by Police bikers and some in cages.

I've got nods from Police (cars and bikes) before - in one case I almost
crashed into the car in front whilst returning the nod of a police bike on
    the other side :|

Heh, well they could at least nod to say "I've got my eye on you,
sonny" sort of thing. Makes me feel a right prune :-(

  15. It wasn't a return nod, it was definately them first. I was too busy trying
to look innocent and get it in top so the pipe didn't sound so loud when
they went past, to even think about nodding at them :) Don't know what it is
about authority figures but I always feel guilty of something in their
    presence.

  17. Something wrong, me, never, it's not in my nature ;) It's probably a
psychological thing. Bet there's even a long word for it.

IKWYM, I always feel like that. Mind you I was out today on my FJ,
having just picked it up there isn't any tax yet.
