  5. God, we did rant on about it for a while didn't we?

I still remember talking to the guy in the RSL about it. And I still
    reckon I am right.

I don't think we ever got a definitive result. It was all heresay and
people claiming "**** this thing stops on a dime".

I recall in the early 90s being given Sir Jack Brabhams Honda NSX to
play with for a day and thinking that the brakes on that were pretty
damn impressive (and for their time they certainly were). But now I
    reckon I'd call them ho-hum.

Someone sitting in a tank who hasn't experienced race-car brakes would
probably find them impressive, same as someone who gets on the back of
a bike for the first time would find the acceleration wild. But after
a while it becomes casual. Well, that's the way I see it. Never enough
horsepower or G forces or whatever. GIVE ME MORE :)

    Cheers

Ahh, of course; it was a SMARTARSE award not a POSER PERMIT!
    Sorry folks!

nah mate that was fine, I got it but had just got back from Ireland
    and forgot to reply.
I'll see whereabouts the place was I used to get parts from, they were
in Wales I think, and I'll send you the details.

    Cheers mate

  9. And thanks for SMS reply Sir J. I've been crook as a dog the last
couple of days and pushing through the pain barrier by still going to
work (yeah, I know, I know, but we have a serious deadline to France
at the moment and unfortunately I am at the end of the funnel and am
the only one that can complete the projects atm).

Dunno why Kim hasn't got back to me. I might ring her instead of
    looking for SMS reply.

    Oh well . . .

    Cheers
