Historic Jefferson

Jefferson had a Boo Fund-raiser rally •like deal 10-23-04. So my
daughter and her husband Keith, on his 21,000 HD, RT on his 3,500
VT600, (no wife), and Larry and wife, on his 23,000 HD, and me and Honey
on our 5,000 VT750, made the ride. it's 60 miles from here, Texarkana.
The weather threatened so much, @ the CMA in Mena, that morning...we
canceled that....and Rode south. I know most of ya have been to
Jefferson, they have a mini-marty-grawh thing (spelling funny) heehee..
One of our favorite parts of any Rally, is how they and us, and ya'll
dress..what the gals wear....how some wear their leather chaps, even if
it's 92*...like it wuz Sat. Now, some of em' Gonna wear them there
"chaps" by golly, no matter....hot or not!!!!!!!!!! smile!!!!!
Nice bike show, plenty places to park, and eat.......also, that's a nice
Riding in tha back "roads area" .....

I read a few people on here got a few good miles in over the weekend.
It seemed Sat. was the best day to ride. I was helping my friend,
Bling! move into his new house. It was supposed to rain on Sat., but
I even noticed I got a bit pink from all the sun I got. Sunday wasn't
so hot and was really threatening rain.
