Wouldn't worry about that, the HID is (IIRC) normally about 35W vs 55W
    for halogen.
Probably not, maybe. I would expect that the reflectors needed to be
designed to work with the bulbs.

Should be ok then. I've got a 35 watt halogen at the moment.
I'll look at the focus, I can move the reflector back and forwards. So I
don't think it's going to be a problem. This kit says it's good for
projection and reflector headlamps. I'll have to see.

OMG, what a difference. This HID kit seems to be of the instant on
variety.. which means that both beams can be converted. Now, where to
    hide the other control box.

  5. Is this the ebay one, or one you had already?

Teach a man to fish and he and his pikey mates will have the
river cleaned out in a day.

This is the ebay one. I'll correct my earlier post.. these do need time
to warm up when cold. When you turn them off for a short time, then on
again, they don't need as much time to warm up again.

Just come back from a mates house, via twisty country roads. I don't
think I ever want to go back to dull yellow hot wire bulbs. :)
