Hicks Road Report

Discussion in 'Bay Area Bikers' started by Larry St. Regis, Aug 3, 2003.

  1. Just a quick FYI ... took a trip over Hicks road from Old Almaden to Camden
    this morning ...

Although there was no-one on the road, there WAS quite a bit of gravel in
the center of the road. The 'tire tracks' were fairly clean, but be careful.

Were there two of you? Did you see a runner warn you of two other runners
forward on Hicks before the dam on the downhill? If so, that runner was
me. White hat, red singlet, black shorts. We were out on about a 14
miler. By the way, the gravel is on the right hand side of the road just
before the narrow bridge as well. Good luck out there, motorcyclists.

  3. Nope ... I was solo, about 9:00 this morning. Just changed the oil on the
bike and figured that was a nice way to "check for leaks", or at least
    that's what I told the wife! 8^)
