I wear a Hi Vis vest, was even cheaper than that of ebay I think
though. It amazes me how fast they get dirty with black soot whilst
riding on the motorway.. makes me wander as to the state of my lungs :(

So far he seems to have got away with just a whole ferry queue pointing
,laughing, and saying "What a wanker". Quite loudly.

Because some people value their personal safety?

I'm probably just a big poof, but I always do whatever I can to
    minimise the risk to myself.

I got the well-worn SMIDSY excuse from a van driver several years ago
after he'd sent me on a brief solo flying lesson - fortunately with
little injury. At the time I religiously wore the traditional biker
uniform of black everything. Now I wear a hi-viz tabbard or jacket
    and a white lid.

It might seem unlikely to some but I know, from experience, that the
number of times people have pulled out in front of me has
significantly reduced since I started wearing the hi-viz kit. It
    really does make a difference.

I'd recommend it to any biker. I couldn't care less if some people
    think I'm a **** - I'm a live ****. Anyway, it complements my Pan.
    ;-)

You're an irritating **** that takes pleasure from making people think
there's a plod bike in front of, or behind them.

    HVB says...
I've been wearing the "traditional biker uniform of black everything",
as you call it, for nigh on 28 years. If something pulls out in front of
me it's because I haven't paid enough attention or failed to make
sufficient observation of what's going on around me.

It's like AndrewR once said "when I was young everyone pulled out in
front of me and I crashed into them. Now I'm older it doesn't seem to
    happen any more"

  16. Yebbut, that is a total knob.

I useter wear a hi-vis jacket while despatching purely as a defensive
measure. I don't know that it worked all that well, given I was knocked
off twice while wearing it. Cunts probably thought I was a target.
