  1. Greetings!

I haven't been on this forum (or riding) for many years and it's great
to see some familiar names still posting to this group a decade down the
track. Last year my wife and I moved from the NT to the lower Blue
Mountains (Winmalee) and bought an '09 F800ST sports-tourer and we've
really enjoyed being back on two wheels and would like to meet other
    local riders.

We often pick a coffee/lunch destination and go for a wander to spots
like Wiseman's Ferry / Berowra Waters / Mt Victoria / Picton. We've also
headed through the RNP down to Kiama/Gerringong for the weekend and will
do a Mudgee trip in the coming months.

I've just spent a week solo exploring the roads between here and the
Gold Coast - Putty, Buckets, Thunderbolts, Oxley Hwy, Waterfall Way,
plus a bunch of other mountain roads and coastal towns. Such amazing
roads and scenery. Next time perhaps the Snowy Mountains area.

Are there other newsgroups or web forums people use to announce/organise
    rides?

Anyone live in our part of the world who enjoys day trips in search of
good food and coffee (and roads of course)?

Any recommendations on places to get new tyres (Pilot Road 3s perhaps)
    fitted at a reasonable price?

    Regards,
    Zak

    Hi and welcome (back) Zak.

There are quite a few of us lurking around. I used to be a member of the
sys-ride group but that seems to have succumbed to entropy (like most of
    us I suspect).

There are a few from here that get out your way (Gerry springs to mind).
Hang around a while - I'm sure we can get something organised.
