Digging through my wardrobe to take the bike for an MOT prior to the
    tube strikes week after next...

My HG Cruise (IIRC) is all pretty good on the outside, and, although
it's not had a rain test of late, wasn't showing any leakage that I can
    recall last time.

However, the fly on the trousers has broken, and the zip that holds the
liner of the jacket in place is also screwed.

I could also do with some small repairs on the zip of my leather Bering
    jacket

Anyone know someone trustable to do this kind of stuff?

    TIA

I would have thought any local seamstress would be able to sort out a
few zips and seams for you.

    You'd think that.

Problem is that I don't really trust our local dry cleaners, as I can
see them stitching right through the Goretex.

And I don't know any seamstresses.

    Hmm, or do I....
