Hey Zeebee, when is MC awareness week, and has it been promoted yet? I had a
2 in the morning moment the other night (no that that kind of thing!) about
how promoting it nationally and thought I should bounce it of you.

Its been a while since I last posted here but I thought I should de lurk for
    a while ;-)

I don't get the whole etag bit at the end. What is that all about. Why
does he need to stop at the toll booth if he has an etag? why does he
hold it up in the air? Why do he and the toll collector exchange
ridiculous expressions.. is this some strange NSW tollbooth ritual?

Etags in NSW dont' work well for bikes. They have a high incidence of
not registering unless you wave them about.

I rang the Toll Bridge people about an eTag for my bikes 2 years ago and
they told me they don't make one for them, so in an act of Civil
Disobedience I have been riding through the eTag lanes on the Tollways and
Toll Bridge in Brisbane for the last 2 years without one, I have not yet
received a bill or any communication regarding my transgressions so I
    continue to ignore their tolls.

So it's an 'in joke' among motorcyclists in an advertisement aimed at
non-motorcyclists. Fair enough. I think the money it cost to produce
that five seconds of vision could have been better spent.

Wait for the later version, which has the tag part explained. It's in
the look twice one as well. It can do double duty and so is.

Why would I want to go to a silly meeting? I have already delivered my
input to the highest authority possible, aus.moto.

If you took your clothes off then someone might actually pay more attention.

And if you extracted an etag from your butt then that will probably bring a
smirk to the meeting attendees as well.
