    Hi Everyone,
I'm Mag from rec.motorcycles. Yeah, from Reeky. :)
We've been trying to get a little internet benefit going for Sunny over
there, and I remembered that she is also a member of your community.
She hasn't been on the computer much the past few days because she's
having a bit of a bad time with an infection in her leg with the "halo"
and dealing with quite a bit of pain right now. You may know that she
and Joe did not have medical coverage, and since the bike insurance
company ruled her accident as "comprehensive coverage", they are not
picking up the medical bills. I thought if a deer ran into the side of
your bike, that was a collision, but...I digress.

The following is copied from my post on rec.moto since I didn't think to
cross-post. If you have questions regarding the info, feel free to
email me. I will try to check back here from time to time to answer any
q's. I guess I should belong since I live outside of Houston. :)
Anyway, the following is the info should any of you be interested in
donating to help defray her medical costs. Also, some of the rec.moto
group are trying to perhaps get an eBay auction together to help
    benefit.
    Thanks in advance.
    Mag
    FYI:
For those wanting to help, the bank in charge of the PK Riders group's
account is willing to handle the donations. Checks can be made payable
to: "PK Riders" with the reference mentioned below and mailed directly
    to:

    Graham Savings & Loan
    1301 Park Road #36
    Graford, TX 76449

Please write on the check: "For Leonel "Sunny" Williams"
or include a note directing the amount to be deposited to the
    fund with her name.
    Mag

I'm sorry to hear that she's feeling poorly.

I'm sure that many of us have some piece of motorcycle gear that we'll never
use in our closet or garage. What about donating some of this stuff to be
auctioned off, with proceeds heading Sunny's way?

Maybe an extra helmet, a jacket that's too small, a set of stock pipes or
handlebars left over from an upgrade, etc.?

    What does everyone think?

BTW- I'm crossposting this back to reeky.....
