    Mate of mine who's an Alfa Romeo mechanic has been ordered back to college
    in order to get some poncy certificate enabling him to work on cars, he
    reckons that from next year even doing an oil change at home will be illegal
    if you've not got the certificate.

    How true this is, I don't know.

    confirms my view that the best thing to do with this country would be to
    leave it, as soon as I can find a) the means and b) somewhere better to go.
