Using the patented Mavis Beacon "Hunt&Peck" Technique, Mike Buckley No thanks. I have donated in the past, but they don't have a sustainable model. The thing will inevitably be grounded.
Sadly that's pretty much my view as well. Although seeing it flying over XM655 while it revved up was pretty damn impressive. Less impressive was paying for Waddington and the useless twonks hadn't got the CoA sorted so were grounded for one of their busiest weekends of the year. Typical of the ropey organisation that has hampered them throughout. I'll be back here though: http://www.xm655.com/events.php and a few quid gets you in the cockpit. Cool!
But look what happened when I said the Flying Scotsman should be removed from any kind of service and left in a museum: the anoraks launched some kind of a steam engine jihad and wanted me killed. You're better off saying nothing and let the fucker crash killing everyone in it.
