    Hi All

Got myself some Oxford Hot Hands, not wishing the cold to stop my fun, or my
    fingers to drop off!

Has anyone out there wired these so they go off with the ignition. My
memory is not what it should be and instead of the cold spoiling my fun I am
sure a flat batery soon will.

Many thanks to you all who post usefull ideas.

    Thanks again

p.s. the bike is a CBR600 if this makes a jot of difference.

If you take the seat off [1], try to find a wire that becomes live when the
ignition is switched on. You then connect a relay to this wire, and run the
    Hot Hands through the relay.

[1] You may have to take the tank off to find one, I did with the XJ. I
would avoid wires that go to/from the electric ignition bits if possible.

If you're wiring them from the ignition you could try checking the horn
feed. It's generally pretty well supplied (i.e. a nice thick wire with
a 10A fuse at the other end).

If you use another switched feed from the ignition I'd be tempted to
take it via a relay with a fresh feed and fuse to the battery.

That lighter fuel is still hanging around, then.

It's going swimmingly, the hole has been repaired and it's being ridden
round as we speak. In fact, I've never known a finer motorcycle.
