ISTR some rather unsound political beliefs, but I can't remember
exactly what they were. (Tory-ism, maybe.) That is, aside from the
obvious one that got Ross murdered by the IRA.

I remember reading about that - didn't Norris only become a fascist
after the IRA blew up his bro?

why do you think the IRA targetted them in the first place?

Funny, as I was working my way down the thread, I way thinking "'cos they
were fascist cunts", and then darsy goes and beats me to it.

I'm disappointed - I thought it was semaphore and was hoping to find
    out what the message was.

    Thanks for all the suggestions.
Must say I like the idea of a VFR !! Always a bike thats appealed to
me. Just didn't think I'd get a decent one for 4K. But a quick check
online shows them for as low as 3k (1998 in silver).

Going along to a few dealers tomorrow.

Will get them pissed off by trying out everything in sight then buying
from someone else!!!!! (Gotta have some fun on a weekend)

Thought the Thundercat might be a little too heavy on the wrists over
that distance, one more to think about.

I will post all those I'm interested in after test riding them and let
you guys tear them to bits.

I waited two years after passing my test before I got a bike. Was
skint student and had no choice.

At a guess because they were both very right-wing National Front-type
    people.

My brother went on holiday to Libya last week. Here's a snippet of
    his review:

"The only downside was that Carol Thatcher, daughter of the more
famous Margaret, was in our group: she was a whingey big mouth, as you
    would expect."

I liked the column he used to "write" in Zero.
