Help required with Gixer 400

    Just come back from having a hoon and my mates Gixer is playing up.
    Ran fine for 40 miles then started to misfire and wouldn't rev pass 6000
    rpm. Runs okay up to 6000 but starts holding back and wont ride through.

    Bike is a 1987 GSXR400 twin carb, 4 cylinder (Import).

    Any suggestions?
