As it says, fucking Yamaha fucking shit!!!!!! [1]

Goddamed back shock has decided to go and dump it's fucking oil out this
    week.

If any of you nice boys has a second hand one you could sell me, please
let me know. Damned if I'm going to pay £230 for a pattern one.

Bollox, and thanks if anyone can help.

    [1] obviously I'm pissed about this :-(

Ridem hard I does. Actually I've shagged the shocks on nearly all my
bikes - apart from the H100 that is!
Yes, haven't you noticed that Timos bikes have been more reliable
    lately?
Heh! perhaps it's someone elses turn now!

Huh? Chinese dentist time? That seems rather excessive.

When you say 'pattern', what exactly do you mean? Cheapest possible
replacement, or something that might be considered to be a performance part?

When Andy (not you, the other one - you know, the one with the locking
wheel nuts... snigger) decided that his ZX6R's rear shock was gefucked,
a performance replacement was several hundred pounds, but a 'pattern'
replacement (i.e. cheap and cheerful) was under the ton.

Try asking Hunter's, on the hill, if you haven't already.

  4. I think it's more likely to be a pie-related problem, myself.

  5. Don't, then. Get the original one rebuilt, and set up to perfection by
    Maxton, for about a ton.

Heh. That's what I was thinking.

I was going to say "that's 'cos you're a fat ****" but I bow to your
    superior use of English.

    Cheapest replacment.
Bwahaha, he didn't tell you about that did he? I was being nice an not
    mentioning it here as well!
Nope, cheapest one for mine is actually £180, a Hagon is £230 - which is
    the one I'd go for.
Haven't been up there yet, might make a trip up there sometime.

It's not an original though, it looks like a very cheap replacement one,
although it does have rebound adjustment.

  10. Doesn't matter, really. Maxton will do a decent job.

Do Maxton rebuild Koni's? How much would I be looking at for a pair of
bespoke shocks for the Guzzi with my 11 1/2 stone for company?
