I've got a manual but a loan of the carb balancing stuff would be most
helpful and very much appreciated.

Just one thing comes to mind, though.

Doesn't the engine have to be cold to do valve clearances?

Coming over isn't a problem but having a cold enough engine while I'm
there might be.

Hmm, true, you have a point there. My current land lord doesn't like
people staying over. I guess that I could pack a toolkit up and come
