So, on the face of it, three Americans have decided to have a little
summertime hike along the Iran-Iraq border. And now they're probably 72
hours from an orange jump suit and a (brief) appearance on Youtube. With
added gurgle.

Just like Afghanistan. Used ter be Afghanistan was one of the best
places to travel through and just as I was seriously thinking of giving
it a go the fucking fucking fucking Soviets fucked it all up forever.

 

Bah - it's fine, if you take reasonable precautions. I'm pretty close
to going as a tourist, as a matter of fact.

There's a lot of kurds in Basel, mostly Turkish, who get very upset

The main draw of Afghanistan was the drugs though. Now that moving drugs has
