Help me make my mind up

  1. Doh! Might have to look at it again.
Have you noticed how ducking ugly the rear end of many Yank Tanks are?
The designers spend all their time on the front and just bung on an ugly
    arse.

Leather is good for sliding down the road type crashes. I was highsided
about six years ago and on impact broke four ribs, collarbone and
shoulderblade but suffered no abrasions thanks to my leather jacket and
helmet, the sliding wore a hole in the back of the helmet but the
leather was just scuffed and did it's job well. If my jacket had armour
it may have reduced the impact injuries and I'm convinced my helmet
    saved my life.

Bi. Not fussy, any hole's a goal, turn over and take it like a man -
    that's Jim Goose.

It was my _only_ gripe with them - they needed to break in before I could
    change gear effectively.
I will not recount how I discovered this, but I found it somewhat exciting
    at the time.

It all improved once they'd got a bit more give (a couple of rides if that)
but I did still have to adjust the lever because I think
they are much thicker due to the inner boot/design - especially when
    compared to Sidis.

I'm 100% happy with them now mind you.

Doesn't Alex F also have a pair of Daytona Race boots?

Hmmm. maybe in the apolcalyptic end days we'll all be a bit more, er,
flexible. Nobody said Wes was any less of a man, after all.

Hmm. Are you sure? ISTR that in the garage scene, where Max is first
shown the car, Goose refers to it as "the last of the V8s".

That was due to, IIRC, a footpeg penetrating into his lower leg. Of
course, it was also to do with him not getting it looked at, and waiting
    for it to go away.

I didn't know commies were allowed to /own/ Kickers.

    Or did you steal them?

    Alright, alright, apologies abound...

Barry says "It's the last of V8s" twice.

Goose says, "You can shut the gate on this Maxie, its the ducks guts"

    Well, that's this afternoon gone...

"Listen to the blower Max, Listen to the blower ..."

Hence I never bought any, nor Michelin tyres. I even used to check to
see where Dunlops were made because I found a pair that had been made in
    France once.

OTOH I could say I survived two accidents in a fabric jacket with
minor injuries but have yet to survive an accident in my leathers.
    F*cking dangeorus they are.
