    Hey people,

I've got a strange sound coming from my bottome end...
When I'm coming off of a high revs and letting the engine slow me down I
hear a clicking noise... Sometimes when accellerating hard I hear it as
well... when I'm just keeping the engine at a constant rev no sound at all..

My guess is that its the clutch.. perhaps a bad clutch basket tower and the
    top pressure plate is skipping.

    Any ideas?
    Thanks ALOT
    Tim

Resist urge to say something witty here. :)
Just a guess, camchain needs tensioning? If anything was slipping in the
clutch you would feel it at the rear wheel.

I've got a strange sound coming from my bottome end...
hahah my girlfriend can tell you all about it.. hehe
Good point about the clutch slipping.. I'm pretty sure its not.. but the
camchain is kept tight by the camshaft tensioner and thats a non-adjustable
part as far as i know.. plus its not like the timing is slipping because the
    engine isn't misfiring or anything.

perhaps it might be something with the final drive gear? again.. the bike is
running perfectly other than the sound its producing (which is very hard to
    hear over my hindle pipe)

    any other ideas?
