Help bike wont start!

  1. Hi folks

Got a problem with my bike. Its a moto-roma Virage 125cc.
Was out on it, started up a very steep hill and did notice it was lacking
bit power as had throttle well oped to get up. No problem once on flat and
ran okay. Stopped bike came out about an hour later and it just refused to
    start.

Just keeps turning over with no sign of firing up. Tried hill start and
    still nothing.
Checks to date: new spark plug, has a spark but unsure how string that
    should be?
Carb been removed and all jets cleaned out.
    Battery recharged fully
Tried using "easy start" but still nothing. I have a real problem trying to
find a local bike shop to look at this as no manual available and parts
difficult to obtain, so Im stuck with it.
This is proving a real pain, Bike is only 2 years old and only has 2000miles
on it, Think if i get this going i will trade in for a bike with a well
    known name.
Anyone know anything about this bike or where i can find info I'd be
    extremely grateful.
Ive been unofficialy told engine is a honda but can't seem to confirmt his
EPBarras i already know about being the importer, however they will not
supply parts direct?? and need to go through a dealer, GREAT!! I live in
Scotland and haven't found one yet.

    Cheers

    Many thanks
    Allan F.

Well if Easy Start won't work, and you have a good spark, turn your
    attention to engine timing.

If engine timing doesn't come up trumps, then the only thing that
comes to mind is that the top end had very poor lubrication, you were
revving it too hard, and one of the valves is stuck closed. The engine
would still turn over, but would it start? Like hell it wouldn't.

Could be low compression, but without some kind of service manual you don't
know for sure what it should be. Sorry to hear about your trouble, but it
serves a good warning to the rest of us.

Fix the e-mail address and it will get to me
