I know it's been done, but things change.

How much is it likely to cost and can anyone recommend a good helmet
painter. Uvex have stopped doing Wings in Black and now only come in a
range of rather nasty patterns. I still want a Wing, but I *really*
    don't want a patterned one [1]

    So anyone?

[1] If anyone sees a Uvex Wing in Black, large size anywhere, please buy
it and I'll forward funds be your preferred method.

Friend of mine is a pro painter. Loz stripped out all the soft bits
on one of his Uvii, rubbed it down smooth and had it painted shiny
black. Twenty quid, that cost - but he did do all the prep work.
Make sure it's a Wing RS mind, there's a difference.
