The bit that gets me is the other driver saying 'she hit me' *sigh*

I am in awe of someone who can bold-faced lay blame like that!

I remember the woman who blindly turned straight across in front of Natalie
and I (in the car) and immediately blamed me for speeding (I had just come
through a tiny roundabout and would've been doing 40k tops!) or another
woman who so berated my sister-in-law for her stupidity that she managed to
get back into her car and escape before my sister-in-law was clear-headed
enough to realise she hadn't been at fault!

I'm always too concerned for everyone's wellbeing or too wracked by guilt
    to even contemplate a bluff!

  6. I was impressed that the camera stayed aimed at the scene after the rider
    fell !!

They are $499 for a bike mounted one or $449 for helmet mounted one
this does not include the recording device only the camera kit.

Like the rider said "It just paid for itself". I'd love a setup like
    that.

  11. My dad once pulled up behind a car/trailer stopped at a set of lights, the
car/trailer then backed into his car. The guy then proceeded to claim that
Dad rear ended him, when the cops turned up Dad produced the witness that
had signalled him from inside the nearby TAB to give his account of what
    happened. It was very good.

    I'm with you there Pete!
I thought there might be a bit of up-skirt action there too later on but it
lead to nothing (bloody teasing bitch!)

  13. I couldn't see my monitor too well from the floor as I immediately obeyed
    the 'lay down' instructions!

  14. Yeah.

Then you add an $800 or so handycam, and it gets a bit pricey.

True, the handycam can be used for other stuff when not attached to your
    helmet cam.

Might have some trouble convincing the minister for finance that it's a
    suitable purchase though.

    prk.

fair point, but still a long way short of $449 if you are a DIY type person
