Where can I get some sheets, rather than just strips?

I want to do the sides of the tank and the side panels below the seat
as they're getting badly scuffed already.

Have a word with these people. I know some people who've had it done and
    they're well impressed.

I bought a sheet of clear sticky plastic. So far I've created an
invisible tank protector, and given some time to clean up the seat
unit, there'll be some invisible added bits for where stuff bungees on
    below the seat.

I think I got it in halfords, or perhaps HG. It was cheap, and it's
done the job with the tank protector so far.

Is that stuff removable or permanent?

I've got some film on my pushbike that removes without leaving any
residue but is really tough and applies easily. Problem is it only
comes in strips. If I could get the same thing in a sheet around
    0.5m2 then that'd be perfect.

I'll have a mooch around Halfords on the way home.

How easily does the stuff remove? Does it leave a residue?

Give them a call and see what they can do. Chances are they have a pre-
cut kit to fit to the ZX10R, they certainly have for the full Gixer
    range and others.

I got some similar stuff from B&Q or Homebase - comes on a big roll. It
won't protect much against stone chips but works great for knee/luggage
rubbing. Does a good job of protecting mobile phone screens too.
Removes easily & cleanly when heated with a hair dryer.

Ahah, I do have to go to B&Q later to get a new saw and some plumbing
bits so I'll have a look. All it's got to do is stop scuffing on the
side panels below the seat as the paint is getting really bad already.

A plain matt finish plastic (like at the top of the fairing side
panels) would be the best finish for them rather than paint. I've
seen some carbon replacements but they're a tad pricey.

The 06/07 swingarm is "upside-down" compared to the 04/05. Ie the
bracing is at the bottom rather than the top.

I don't know about pissed off, I found it a bit disconcerting to have
something tapping my heel when I was pressing on.

Sorry - I can't remember where I got it. Thinking about it, I'm more
likely to say HG. I've never tried taking it off, so I don't know what
    it's like on that score.

Went to Halfords tonight and they apparently carry nothing like that.
I'll pop to HG on the weekend.
