If you had either 1. paid attention during Western Civ 1 or 2. used Google
you'd know the correct spelling is Diogenes. Putting the extra "e" at the
end makes it look more Italian than Greek-- but Demetrios can explain the
phonological differences between Greek and Italian better than I can. At any
rate, the alphabet has nothing to do with it.

 

What makes you think he can't spell "bitch?" I mean, sure he can't
spell Diogenes, but bitch has only one syllable, and is in much more
common use. As the present administration proves, nobody here is
interested in finding an honest man.
