They do in-ear speakers for motorcyclists, which are also noise damping.

There seems to be a sliding scale for in ear headphones

    Etymotic > Sony > Koss

The Sony stuff is good mid range gear (I've got some EX71's winging
their way to me now), but if Radio 4 is all you're listening to the
Koss may save you a few quid.

Balls to that. My mp3 player has a remote, and I gave up trying to use
it as the buttons are *far* too small when you're wearing gloves.
Unless it's a remote you carry around in a wheelbarrow it's never going
    to be big enough.

I tried this whole music-on-the-bike thing a few years ago (wrote a
review for the ukrm site too). Did it a few times, but the problems
    were:
    * Can't change volume/track unless player is in tank bag.
Remote buttons too small to use with gloves (as above), and when you
get to a good cruising speed you need to up the volume a bit. However,
when you're back around town it's too loud. Having the player in the
tank back has obvious problem-compounding effects in an off.

    * Headphones uncomfortable
I couldn't find a set of buds that didn't take 10 mins to sit ok with
my lid on before I set off. If the wire snagged on something they were
dislodged causing instant grief, usually requiring an emergency stop
and another 10 mins trying to get them right.

    * Deaf when you get there
As you don't have ear plugs anymore, and you're likely to be doing the
music thing on long m-way blats, you up the volume so you can hear the
music over the wind. So now you've got wind roar and music eroding
your hearing. When you do get to B you have to wait for an hour or so
    before your hearing catches up.

Before I do it again I'd get some proper headphone/plug things (or a
set of moulded earplugs with headphone fittings), a solid-state mp3
player (or use the PPC) and some sort of gloved-hand-operable cut-out
    switch as mentioned above.

Ended up ordering these from Amazon (well, EX71-SLB, near as dammit). Very
pleased so far - much better than the Sony earbud types I was suffering
with, and sound pretty good too. Ta for the rec....
