headlight bulb blown

    fumbled, fiddled and fingered:
    to the right hand side of the headlight

    identified as "b" in the picture

    "c" is the manual up and down setting.
    "a" is the left/right setting

    the lever marked "b" is in the upright position in the pic and can be
    flipped to the centre and the bottom as load requires

    Comes from having owned 5 K100's and almost learning the owners &
    service manuals off by heart over the years I guess :eek:)

  8. poor quality bulb
    u get that
    u touched the glass when u put it in...clean with metho
    poor contacts twixt wire & bulb
    loose socket allowing bulb to vibrate

    use high beam and adjust light down, there's an adjuster on them is
    there not?

  9. Yeah, I know that now. :) Bulb replaced Saturday last; if it blows
    before Christmas 2005, I'll know that there's a problem. :-/
