Does anyone know or have any SENSIBLE suggestions as to where I can
find out how much oil the darn thing needs in its crank case?

Its for my son. He's rebiult the thing, but doesn't know... Otherwise
its all going 'gravy', as he an' his mates say...

Totally asside, my son gave me a demo of his trick/stunt doings on a
BMX... Now where can I get a cheap enduro from? He really is rather
good at this stuff... *proud* :)))

    Owen says...
You mean gearbox don't you? I should be stamped on the cases just next
to the oil filler. If not there should be a dipstick on the filler cap,
top up to the max mark, run engine for 30 secs and check again. Repeat
    until the level stays constant.

Erm... Absolutely **** all. Its a two stroke........ Just put oil in the
two stroke tank and start it up - the oil gets mixed with the petrol and
lubricates the crank on a total loss basis (with some getting burnt and
producing that lovely smoke & smell)[1]

    Jesus!
