Haynes BOL required...

    Anyone got a Haynes Manual 0574 - Kawasaki 750 Air-cooled Fours (80 - 91)
    that is surplus to requirements?... Its for a GT750...

    TIA etc etc...

    Blast, bad form etc. I have the Genuine (1982) Kawasaki Service Manual. Would
    that be of any use instead?

  4. Um, I tend to keep manuals on the "you never know" basis but I can
    certainly lend you one.

  5. On one - it might be the Kawasaki 750 manual actually - they gave the
    torque for the cam caps as 70-80ft/lbs.

    Yes, they'd misplaced a decimal point. Luckily I look at it, thought:
    "That *can't* be right..." and double-checked with a Kawasaki dealer.

    Of course the Haynes is more of an "it never knows" basis :-^)

    ( Though you could argue that BOL implies: "it knows, but it knows
    wrong". )

    My mate had a theory that HBOL knew the stuff .. it just expected you to
    also know the stuff, so all it really needed to say was aimed at giving some
    mild encouragement and to show pretty pictures of greasy hands.
