So, how do the conspiracy theories continue from here? It's quite odd
that Hayden would want to stay in a hostile work environment, where
engineers are stabbing him in the back all the time. I'm pretty
confident that Dorna and Rossi have blackmailed Hayden to keep him in an
inferior team. As you all know, Hayden would win the championship even
on a Kawasaki, if that Rossi bastard wasn't cheating all the time.

Also, the rumour on the paddocks has it Hayden is going to practise a
bit more dirt-track racing off-season. That'll teach him to ride circles
around Pedrosa and Rossi, until Kallio (Finnish ice track champion)
    enters MotoGP...

  2. Nah, then it'll only be because he weighs 54 kg.

  3. He's like the Wicked Witch - all fearsome and scarey until you simply
add water. "Curse you! I'm mellllllteeeeeng!!!" LOL

Several boneheads around here have been whining about Nicky's
(admittedly) less than overpowering season. I'd like to offer my own
opinion - that Danny, or any other rider who can't cope with a little
water, isn't a "deserving champion" either. "Pedrosa is obviously in
cruise mode, mentaly weak and unwilling to push it to the limit."
"Honda should fire the wimpy midget. OUT!"

    :p

Imbecile logic. He's the rookie of the year. For you partisan yanks, remind
us what hayden did in his forst year. Uhm. Did he win a race and finish on
the podium a few times? I thought not.

Hayden will be a very deserving champion this year. Very smart season, a
very mature and smart performance with memorable highlights. Pedrosa has had
a memorable season as one of the best rookies ever. catastrophe aside -which
is always possible in bike racing- he will win a world title.

Only the most idiotic US fans will realize why they like the US-vs-Europe
shitfest so much. Truth is, the last 15 years or so do not warrant any
    arrogance...

  5. Imbecile logic is all the rage theses days. Get with the program! :)

I agree, size aside, he's clearly a very good rider. Is his knee still
causing major problems, or has he somehow lost the thread over the last
    few races?
Agree with both. I'd like to see HN win another race, or at least beat
VR in a straight fight. Even if he 'backs in,' he and the team will
have earned the title. He's worked hard, raced cleanly, and gone
(nearly?) as fast as possible w/o falling off.

In all seriousness, I DO wonder about Pedrosa's fear of water. It seems
out of keeping with his dry speed. Most great riders/drivers have had
excellent wet weather feel. Watching NH hound Rossi in the rain would
seem to validate the notion that, just maybe, Nick is not so 'crap'
    after all.
FWIW, I was in sarcasm mode. Two or three dorks on the newsgroup have
been bagging on NH for not being agressive enough, being too slow, or
failing to live up to the (random) standard of the day. Several of them
    are also big DP fans....

Are you still certain that Hayden will win this year? I'd say that
Rossi looks more likely to win right now.
