Oops, I meant, has anyone used Avon tyres on one? Results etc.

He, I thought the only reccomended tyre for a 'Busa was the OEM BT56?
But 10 seconds on google brought up this...

    http://www.hyp4r.com/hayabusa/survey3_results.htm

    Old now, but useful?

    I'm using them.
Results? I did have a slight mis-hap last year but I don't think it
was attributable to the tyres. They're certainly lasting OK. I think
they're suitability depends mainly on riding style. Mine is
    'unaggressive'.

They'll be fine. I can't think of anybody who's had problems with
    them.

Did you consider googling for more general comments on the tyres in
question? It's like doing a bit of 'background' research before going
    onto the specifics iyswim.

Yeah, the problem with google is cutting the wheat from the chaff, half
the time it's adverts or folk who know little of what they speak, here,
you might get called a ****, bu8t we are all bikers. I tend to ask folk
that at least know what they are talking about. Google seems a pile of
sdvertising shite these days, but i take your point Andy.

That's where google groups is your friend.

btw, I didn't mean what I said about Avon tyres. They're fucking awful
and I wouldn't put them on a 500cc commuter bike, let alone a
    Hayabusa.

All you need to do now is try out google groups to see which is my
true opinion of Avons. Useful key words to try would be Azaro,
mountain, Bandit and shit. You'll find that plenty of other people
rate them very highly and the newest superbike tyres are probably ****
all like the Azaros I rode on but I tend to stick with tyre
manufacturers that I've had good experiences rather than bad ones.

No, for the "we are all bikers". If it was the typo don't you think I'd
    have pointed that out.

Naturally you're not using a fixed width font so it's all mangled, I
wouldn't expect anything else from you really. Ah yes, Outlook Express,

    No, we're not.

There are many here who don't ride bikes.

And there are others that wouldn't use that particular phrase.
    Personally I don't consider myself a biker.

But this is an old-old discussion and I can't be arsed with it so won't
continue beyond saying that if you're what a biker is then I'm glad I'm
    not one.

clue: I haven't forgotten what you posted in the recent past.

You have far too much time on your hands, I couldnt give a **** what
you think of me you nasty twat. As this NG is about motorcycles, i kinf
of thought you maybe had a bike etc.

Easiest way, just killfile me you boring person. Getover whatever you
think I am, look around this NG & you'll see far worse predjudice than
    you THINK I show.

    Now, just **** off.

    Addressing your 'points' in order:

I had time on my hands because I was cooking. Regarding generally
having time on my hands, no not really- I rarely post during the weeks
    at the moment.

"couldn't give a ****", if so why did you bother responding?

"Nasty twat" is a bit rich coming from you.

I've got plenty of bikes, four that are roadworthy at the moment and
I've had plenty in the past.

And "this NG is about motorcycles"- it isn't.

    I don't do kill files.

And, no, I haven't seen worst prejudice shown than yours. It's the very
fact that you thought a racist insult was 'OK' because it was applied to
an odious twat that's shown me all I need to know about you.
    *yawn*

  16. I'm confused here, because I can't see anything racist in the thread.

Unless it was in another thread, of course.
