Watching the news, I keep hearing all these people talking about "how to fund the war". We have a bunch of politicians in DC fighting over a bill that's being vetoed...and is just coming down to "funding the war". I keep hearing them saying they need to do something quickly or the military will run out of money and won't be funded. WTF?!?!?!? I recall very clearly one of the big selling points that Bush and his cronies used to sell this stupid shit "war" was using the "oil revenues" to fund the war. AND HERE WE ARE WITH 300% INCREASES IN GAS PRICES, 4 YEARS LATER, AND FIGHTING OVER FUNDING? Have I missed something? How/why can people sit back and let this go and not say anything?
