Using the patented Mavis Beacon "Hunt&Peck" Technique, Doesnotcompute <examines conscience> No, no, seems pretty clear. I really hope it's not a big problem. I *hate* it when this sort of shit happens. Wicked Uncle Nigel says... I've bought my last 3 bikes from people I know and been very happy with every one of them. I've sold some of my bikes to mates in the past, and never had a problem. They might have, but I haven't.
Mark Olson says... Having said that, I am sorting out a problem with one bike I sold to a close friend, but only because something that I promised I would have fixed prior to delivery went wrong again just after I sold it. Fair's fair, so I'm sorting it. That's precisely what I do, even though some of them have racked up huge mileages in my hands. You soon find out who would be a PITA and avoid offering them stuff no matter how cheap or how much profit there is.
