Took the new Michelin power pilots for a spin on the weekend.. They grip
really well. Crap all over my old Dunlop 208 Sports ( wont be buying them ).
The bike cornered like it was on rails, no drifting, or squirming under
power. I could have pushed them harder but I was already leaving my buddy
    for dead : )

3 months ago when I got back on a bike again after a few years off, I was
flat out trying to catch my buddy, and he was just cruzzing quickly. Now Im
leaving him for dead after 2 corners : ) must be riding better.

Maybe he's just lulling you into a false sense of security to see how
fast he can push you before you crash.

www.superbikeschool.com.au costs less than a set of tyres and gives you a
lifetime of improvement... seriously... will let you corner with a huge
margin for error no matter how good you -are- .

unfortunately they closed the local track : (

I've done a few courses. I ride fast. Wether im any good well that's another
story????? My ZX9R is faster than me ATM, probably will be for a long time.
Some race rubber and a track might help me push the bike harder.
