My Trumpy ran today (as it did (briefly) yesterday too).
I couldn't coax it into life but it started first-pop when gNatalie thumbed
    the button. (SETTLE Johno!)
The good news is that the diagnostic doovey recorded no faults afterwards
either (a "complete cycle" for the Sagem EFI is for it to idle up until the
    fan cuts in.)
The rest of the day was spent making the gearsack-rack fit and that looked
to be a success too ('though I dunno' if the seat will fit back on!)
Tomorrow is the LED indicators, the fairing, bolting the tank into place and
    maybe even a ride!
The XJ750 runs out of rego on Tuesday so it'll be a tight squeeze.

Brilliant! How appropriate that the Frankensprint should go on Easter
Sunday... Fingers crossed that everything goes according to plan, and that
no hose clamps were harmed in the resurrection of this motorcycle!

Good stuff! As for rego on the XJ, if you pay on-line, Qld Transport will
accept less the stipulated fee and give you pro-rata length of
registration. I've done it deliberately before so as to stagger the dates
when rego and bills are due. Should be fine to pay a small amount to keep
it registered long enough to finish off the Trumpy.

    cheers, Bill
