I give out candy & turn on all the outside lights but this old fart
has done more than his share of "Pumpkin carving" when I had young
kids in the house. Now my youngest is 35 & the eldest 38. Hell, I even
have a 12-year-old grandson & 4 younger now - Christmas too! No
lights or tree these days.

Local news here did a feature on a retired guy in El Cajon who is really
into pumpkin carving. After the first year or so, he found styrofoam
pumpkins which have the advantage of not being biodegradable. This
year, he had 57 of them on display around his house. Really good
workmanship and apparently quite popular with the neighbors.
