Since the curiously loathsome, mouth-breathing aad-p fruitcakes have pursued
you here, the least we can do is offer you political asylum! You share your
birthday with 2 of my favourite people, but don't let that go to your head.

 

I thought I saw Des uberflounce and unsubscribe the other day?

You're too late - he unsubscribed temporarily a couple of days ago to

I love the way he's sacrificing his own enjoyment of the newsfroup in order
to enhance ours by luring away the nasty element that have been haranguing

about anyone else but himself.

 

That's not all I've repeated today. I think I'm allergic to chocolate

Even so, Des at his worst seems a preferable option to the default behaviour

Possibly on the 'infinite number of monkeys' principle, he does come up with
interesting observations, parallels & differences in life and/or biking in
France. Mrs Rosbif is a Frog, and I'm sufficiently interested in what
Tolerable Des sometimes has to say to be able to ignore Toxic Des when he's
standing in the metaphorical gutter, drinking Brasso, swaying alarmingly and
shouting at the traffic.

The aad-p crazies seem, by contrast, to be unhealthily twitter and bisted.
They have no use on the planet and are IMHO a simple waste of oxygen.

end of Des' abuse like Bear, Ace etc I'd probably think differently.

Absolutely. I did lurk in aad-p for a while many moons ago, & it
appeared the loonies had taken things into real life in a rather nasty
way. I don't blame Des for trying to shake them off, or at least keep
them contained.

Well, yes. These are people who are positively proud of their support
for capital punishement. They should be bloody shot!

Oh yes, without a doubt. But the majority of abuse hurled at Des seems
to be more of the piss-taking variety (with the exception of Bear), &
at least vaguely related to the topic under discussion.

Des' abuse on the other hand appears to be just incesant viscious
sniping at any opportunity. I know he'd disagree, but that's how it
comes across to a fairly disinterested third party such as myself who
doesn't know the history behind it all.

the first three articles in the next thread which causes me no end of
